Her participation was revealed today (October 16th) through the trailer video for Nissy’s nationwide six-dome tour new song music drama. In the music video trailer video, Park Min-young captures attention with her heartfelt performance, showing both her lovable side and shedding tears. She also delivers lines in Korean, such as “I wish this moment could last forever” and “Is there magic somewhere that can keep us together like this?“, making a strong impression as a promoter of the Korean language in Japan.

The collaboration between Park Min-young and Nissy was made possible by Nissy’s personal invitation, adding special meaning. Despite the language barrier, the two, both the same age, displayed incredible chemistry from their first shoot, supporting each other and creating an immersive atmosphere.

Nissy, who debuted in 2005, is a singer-actor who has won numerous rookie awards in Japan. After beginning his solo career in 2013, he became the youngest Japanese male solo artist to sell out a nationwide four-dome tour in 2019. In 2022, he achieved another milestone by selling out his six-dome tour. Starting in November 2024, Nissy will be the first Japanese solo artist to embark on a second nationwide six-dome tour, during which the full story of the music drama featuring Park Min-young will be unveiled. The music drama is directed by Shigeaki Kubo, known for working with top artists like EXILE, Namie Amuro and DREAMS COME TRUE.

After the release of the music video trailer, Japanese fans responded enthusiastically with comments such as, “I can’t believe Nissy and Min-young are acting together! Thank you”, “Park Min-young as the heroine? I can’t believe it! I’m so happy!” and “I never imagined seeing Min-young in a Japanese music video! I’m booking my fan meeting tickets now!

Following the success of tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Marry My Husband“, Park Min-young’s popularity in Japan has been skyrocketing. In March, her fan meetings in Tokyo and Osaka were completely sold out, proving her immense popularity. Along with her appearance in the music video, she will host the Japanese fan club inauguration ceremony “Hello Japan Beans” on November 8th at Tokyo NHK Hall, where she will meet and interact with her fans.
